Community grief group offered

STEPHENSON — The OSF HealthCare Hospice will host a community conversation about grief Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Menominee County Public Library, 319 Railroad St.

No registration required, open attendance is offered to the community.

Menominee to host open house

MENOMINEE — Menominee High School, 2101 18th St., is holding a holiday open house Dec. 18  from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lunch at 12:30. The halls will be decorated based on Christmas songs. Lunch is $3 and there will be bingo and arts and crafts.

Sons of American Legion to hold party

MENOMINEE — The Sons of American Legion Post 146 will host an Army-Navy football tailgate party Saturday with doors opening at 11 a.m. Veterans of all barracks of the armed forces are welcome. Veterans are encouraged to bring pictures of their service time.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided. 

Peshtigo library updates community

PESHTIGO — The Peshtigo Public Library’s Holiday Open House will be held Dec. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. Santa Claus will be there along with treats and activities for the kids to do. There will be door prizes and a children’s coloring contest.

Story time is going on winter break after Friday at 10:30 a.m. This will be the Christmas story time and the children will get to help decorate the tree. Story time will continue again starting in February.

Book Club will be meeting Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. Participants will discuss a book they've recently read and hear about the other books people have been reading while enjoying company and coffee.
