Church to hold Thanksgiving dinner

CRIVITZ — Northwood's Apostolic Church will hold it's free Community Thanksgiving Day dinner Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The dinner will take place at the Crivitz Village Hall, 800 Henriette Ave., and consists of traditional foods such as turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, pies and various drinks. Delivery is available for the village of Crivitz.

Peshtigo church offers Thanksgiving dinner

PESHTIGO — A Free Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at St. Mary Parish Peshtigo on Thanksgiving Day in its parish gym (just behind Lee's Family Foods) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The dinner is planned by the Christian Service Group of St. Mary and SS. Joseph & Edward, Walsh, with support from Good Shepherd Lutheran in Peshtigo and United Methodist of Peshtigo and Harmony. There is no cost for this traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings and dessert.

The public is encouraged to attend. No reservations are needed.

New walking track opens at REC Center

MARINETTE — The Community REC Center, 2501 Pierce Ave., opened its new rubberized indoor walking track to the public Thursday. The walking track is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
