Vintage Days to be held Sunday

HERMANSVILLE — The IXL Historical Museum will hold its annual Vintage Day Sunday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Area residents are welcome to bring in and share their own vintage collections — clothing, tools, kitchen items, crockery, etc.— and may email Linda at ixsecretary@gmail.com or call Joan at 906-498-2326 for further information.

This year’s celebration will include Neville guitars, vintage snowmobiles, 50s clothing, trappers with their equipment and fur pelts, handmade woodenware, a blacksmith and collections of vintage items from the community. New this year will be a “Guess the Gadget” contest.

Hot pasties, cold lemonade and water will be available for purchase. The annual cookie sale, which will include handmade cupcakes this year, will be held in the “little house” and handmade wooden wares will be for sale on the porch.

Jeff Neville will entertain at 2. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to this event.
