Kiwanis Club to hold annual golf outing

MENOMINEE — The Menominee Kiwanis Club Scholarship Golf Outing will take place at Riverside Golf Club Thursday. This event is a four-person scramble at a cost of $75 per player, which includes green fees, cart and a buffet dinner. Registration is at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. 

There will be on-course events, 50/50 and bucket raffles, $10,000 and $15,000 hole-in-one contests and additional prizes. Proceeds to provide scholarships to Menominee High School students.

Grief group to meet at library on Tuesday

STEPHENSON — The OSF HealthCare grief group will be meeting at the Menominee County Library, S. 319 Railroad St., Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The grief group attempts to provide a warm, caring and confidential environment for attendees that may allow them to be supported by others. No registration required, open attendance offered to the community.

AMVET to host brat and burger fry

PESHTIGO — The American Veteran (AMVET) Post 6 will hold a brat/burger fry at Forgotten Fire Winery, N2393 Schacht Road, July 20 from noon to 4 p.m. All funds raised by AMVET Post 6 are used to support local public and veteran charities.
