MARSP to meet at Little Nugget

MENOMINEE — The Menominee County Chapter of Michigan Retired School Personnel (MARSP) will meet Thursday at the Little Nugget Clubhouse on East County Road 338. Registration is at 11:30 a.m. with the luncheon served at noon.

On the menu is a beef dinner at a cost of $12. The chapter memorial service will be held to honor and remember deceased Menominee County chapter members from the past year. The program will be presented by Heather Dickinson from the Prickly Pear Craft Studio.

Parade for Marinette festival announced

The 9th Annual Logging and Heritage Festival parade is Sunday, July 14, starting at noon. Line-up will be on Riverside Avenue in the Kimberly Clark parking lot. Crivitz legion to host gun and knife show

CRIVITZ — The Crivitz Legion Post 413 Gun and Knife Show will be held June 15 at the Crivitz Village Hall. Setup time for dealers is 7 to 8 a.m. with show times 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be food and refreshments available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting various veteran organizations.

Tables will be available for $10 each for the day. Dealers are asked to furnish their own table covers and to stay until the show is over at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for people ages 12 and older. Table reservations can be made to Larry Lundberg at 715-854-2672.
