Fruit sale to be held through Feb. 22
WAUSAUKEE — The Friends of Wausaukee Library are taking orders for its annual fundraiser fruit sale. The sale will continue through Feb. 22.
Apples and pear crops are supplied from Washington and Oregon. Grapefruit comes from Texas and California and oranges from California. Orders may be placed at the library Monday, Wednesday and Friday or with a member of the Friends group.

Fruit distribution will be March 13 from noon to 5 p.m. in the hallway at the south entrance to the library, 703 Main St., Wausaukee.
Peshtigo library brings back story time
PESHTIGO — Peshtigo Public Library offers upcoming activities at the library.
Story time at the library will return. They will begin Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m. This is a weekly, half hour program for toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents held every Friday at 10:30 a.m. They will read a few stories and make a take-home craft.
The Book Club will meet at the library Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. Participants will be able to discuss previously read books and take part in conversation, and people may enjoy a cup of coffee.
The Peshtigo library’s big book sale will end Wednesday. People may fill a bag for $2. Hardcover books are 50 cents, as are audio books and DVDs. There are still a lot of books available. One table will be set up at the library with items to purchase after the big book sale ends.

Credit union donates to local program
The Menominee branch of CoVantage Credit Union members, staff and community members who responded to the CoVantage Cares Foundation’s 2018 Giving 2sday campaign donated to the Love Lights Tree Program.
The CoVantage Cares Foundation distributed nearly $307,000 to nonprofit groups that serve communities where CoVantage Credit Union has branches.
