Parkinson Support Group to meet
The M&M Parkinson Support Group will meet Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Harbor’s Retirement Building, 1110 10th Ave., Menominee. They will have a presentation by Christine Pada from Z boost Performance LLC. She will share positive ways to start off the day.
The first meeting of the caregivers support group will be held Jan. 24. This group will share issues, resources and support for the caregiver. Caregiving can be extremely stressful and taking care of oneself sometimes is difficult. People may join them for support and all information is confidential.
Printed information about the support group and Parkinson Disease issues are available at meetings along with a precautionary drug card. This card provided by Dr. Paul Nausieda. It contains a list of medications that should not be taken with some Parkinson Medications. This card is available to patients, caregivers and families. There is no charge for meetings or printed information.

Legion to have annual U.P. winter tour
The 2019 annual Commander’s Winter U.P. tour begins at the Newberry American Legion Post Sunday at 6 p.m. Department Commander Steve Striggow will be accompanied by Department President Deborah Williamson and Detachment Commander Gary LaMunyon for the week long event. 
The tour will begin at Newberry Post, culminating at Stambaugh Post for the beginning of the U.P. Association Winter Meeting that begins Friday evening and runs through Sunday.

Pottery studio to be featured
MARINETTE — The newly-opened Sno-Haven Pottery, 1215 9th St., Marinette, will be featured Friday on Fox 11’s Good Day Wisconsin program in four segments showcasing the business. 
According to owner Marcia Defnet, the brand-new studio will be shown in four live segments airing at 5:45 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. this Friday. Defnet plans to demonstrate four different pottery and jewelry-making techniques for viewers of the morning show.
