CASA purchases computer with grant

MENOMINEE — The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Menominee County received $500 from the Women’s Giving Circle Fund held at the M&M Area Community Foundation. These funds have been used to purchase a new office computer.

This grant has the ability to help CASA continue to serve abused and neglected children of Menominee County. These children have in many cases been impacted by drug and alcohol addictions, homelessness, mental issues and domestic violence. The group’s priority has the child’s best interest in mind. This computer allows them to continue to effectively support the population of at-risk children.

“We are so delighted to have a much needed new computer thanks to the Women’s Giving Circle. We applaud all of the good this organization does in our very generous community.” commented Teresa Boscarino, executive director, CASA of Menominee County.
