Workshop for new entrepreneurs offered
MARINETTE — There will be a free workshop held at the Wisconsin Maritime Center of Excellence-Business Assistance Center, 1320 Main St., under the theme, “Pathways to Entrepreneurship” for anyone considering starting a business, Feb. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. The workshop will provide necessary information on how to launch and grow a business; describe resources that are available in the community; explain why a business plan is essential to success and listen as local entrepreneurs and business owners share their experiences.

Two-session workshop available
MARINETTE — The Marinette Senior Center will hold a two-session Android Tablets workshop at the center, 1603 Ludington St., Feb. 20 and 22 from 9 a.m. to noon. Brian Hartnell will guide participants on how to use an Android tablet and its operating system; demonstrate the opening and closing of applications; the using of hand gestures; organizing the tablet desktop to contain the icons used most; personalizing and upgrading tablets OS; purchasing media through the stores; and emailing and WIFI connections.
The cost is $30 and attendees must bring their tablets. Registration is required as class size is limited.

CPR classes to be held beginning Feb. 28
CRIVITZ — The Bellin Health Clinic, along with Brandon Gauthier and Community Ed, will hold CPR classes at the clinic, 218 S U.S. 141, the fourth Wednesday of every month beginning Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. The cost is $3 which covers the cost of the CPR card. Registration is required as class size is limited.
