Veterans Service officer to hold hours

HERMANSVILLE — Menominee County Veterans Service Officer Mike Dellisse will hold office hours at the Legion hall Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. Veterans or widows who need assistance, have claims, have questions about Agent Orange, headstones, grave markers; or need information about the Oscar Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain or the Michigan Trust Fund for Menominee County, should see Dellisse. This is a free service.

All Things Chocolate event to be held

MENOMINEE — All Things Chocolate, hosted by the GFWC Menominee Woman’s Club, will be held at Riverside Country Club Feb. 13 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with area food vendors. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.

Along with food, there will be prizes, raffles and a live auction. The Menominee Kiwanis Club provided raffle licenses. All proceeds will be donated to local nonprofit organizations. Tickets may be purchased at Jack’s Fresh Market in Menominee and at Riverside Golf Club.
