Each year the Crooked Lake/Mountain Lions Club checks with the local schools to find a family to adopt for Christmas. The Club contacts that family to get a “wish list” from them for everyone in the household and then they shop. Lion Karen Wanta is pictured with some of the wrapped presents for this year’s family and in addition to these presents, The Lions Club had cords of wood and groceries delivered to the adopted family.
