MARINETTE — The UW Marinette Foundation has received a year-end contribution from The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) of $2,000 in recognition of its commitment to the community.

“The foundation is able to provide scholarships to deserving local students because of the financial support of generous donors such as SNBT. In addition to scholarships, the foundation also provides professional development grants to the faculty that serve our local students, enabling our campus to offer innovative, exciting and relevant programming,” said President of the UW Marinette Foundation Amy Schwaba. “We would like to acknowledge our appreciation to the Stephenson National Bank not only for their contribution to our Foundation but to the 48 other local non-profit organizations the bank recognized at its annual contribution reception held in December. The bank’s recognition of the service of these many local organizations raises awareness throughout the Community and allows all of us to share in the pride we feel knowing we live in a community that is generous and caring toward all of its citizens.”

Dan Peterson, President and CEO at SNBT added, “We want these organizations to know that their efforts do not go unnoticed. We are proud to be able to provide this small token of our appreciation, which pales in comparison to the service they provide the community.”
