PESHTIGO — Story time is a weekly, half hour program for toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents held every Friday at 10:30 a.m. The next story time, April 12, will be with the children’s librarian, Lara. The theme for the remaining story times is “Spring Life” and they will start April 26. Kids will read a few stories and make a take-home craft. There will be no story time on Good Friday, April 19, and the library will close at 2 p.m.

Rochelle Pennington, a Wisconsin author, storyteller and national columnist will be coming to the Peshtigo Library to present The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and the mystery surrounding its demise in 1975. This is a free event and will be April 15 at 4 p.m.

The library will also hold a free hearing screening with Avada Audiology & Hearing Care April 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. People should call or stop by to make an appointment, which are necessary.

People may contact Jessica at the Peshtigo Public Library with questions at 715-582-4905.
