OCONTO — Oconto County Historical Society (OCHS) will present its monthly Speaker Series program Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Beyer Home and Carriage Museum, 917 Park Ave.

The evening’s program, “Identifying Things Your Grandmother Had” can help people identify items that they may have received from a grandmother, other relatives, friends, or may have purchased yourself. At this event, people can receive insight as to what the items were used for or just want to learn more history about them. Attendees are invited to bring several items to be identified.

Bill Eiler, owner of Frugal Classics in De Pere, Wis., a business that specializes in estate sales, will be available to offer his expertise. Eiler has had a life-long interest in art and antiques. In 2017, he was a volunteer at Antiques Road Show held in Green Bay.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the program.
