MARINETTE — UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus Office of Continuing Education announces open auditions for children ages 6 to 17 for the upcoming performance of “Disney’s Frozen JR.” Auditions will be held tonight from 5 to 7 in room T-133 of the Theatre Building on the campus. Those auditioning for a role must be prepared to sing a short excerpt from a song of their choosing, preferably a music theatre song as well as a monologue. Those auditioning should also be prepared to do some cold readings from the script. Cast will be chosen from those that audition and rehearsals will begin Aug. 20. Performance dates for the upcoming show will be Oct. 11-13 and Oct. 18-20, and will be held in the Herbert L. Williams Theatre on the Marinette Campus. The show is directed by Brittany Welch and is produced by the Office of Continuing Education and Community Engagement. New to this year’s program are two sing-a-long performances which will be held Saturdays at 2 p.m.
