CRIVITZ— The annual High Falls Fish-O-Rama will be held Saturday at the High Falls Flowage, just off Boat Landing 3 Road, on the Iron Snowshoe Snowmobile Trail, 12 miles northwest of Crivitz. Parking will be located on land at the boat landing and in the Twin Bridge Ski Team parking lot.

Trophies will be sponsored by Popp’s Resort, with cash or prizes awarded to the longest three fish in each species. Fish entry tickets can be purchased for $5 per person at Popp’s Resort, Tall Oaks, T & B One Stop, High Falls One Stop, Boat landing 4 and at the entrance to the Fish-o-Rama. Fish ticket sales will end at noon on the day of the event. Fish registration ends at 3:30 p.m. There will be an ice fishing shanty decorating contest.

A snowmobile radar run will begin at 9 a.m. with registration starting at 8:30. The track will be 800 feet long. Trophies, sponsored by Rene’s Dining Room, will be awarded for top speeds in all classes including non-studded, studded, stock, modified/improved, youth, vintage snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, UTVs and SxS’s.

Raffle tickets will be sold for $10, with only 500 tickets being sold. Cash prizes, including $1,000 for first prize, will be awarded on the ice at 4:30 p.m. Paddlewheel prizes, donated by area businesses, will be awarded from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids are welcome to play Plinko to win prizes.

Food and refreshments will be sold in a large heated tent, located on land across from the Big Dipper Ice Cream Stand on County Road X between Popp’s Storage & Sportsman’s Cafe, at 11 a.m.

The event is sponsored by the Twin Bridge Water Ski Team. All parking for cars, trucks, and trailers will be located on land.
