OSHKOSH, Wis. — Lindsey Albaugh, Marinette and Audrey Campbell, Peshtigo, both of the Country Reins 4-H Club, attended the annual 4-H Horse Leaders Conference at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus Nov. 15 and 16. The conference was attended by nearly 200 youth, parents and 4-H volunteers and covered a wide range of topics from showing respect to others, horse drill teams, job opportunities in the equine industry, and horseshoe arts and crafts. This conference is one of the many opportunities open to youth in the Marinette County 4-H Horse Project. New members are always welcome in this group and owning a horse is not a requirement.

Campbell also received a State Sportsmanship at the conference. She was nominated by the Marinette County 4-H Horse Project leaders for her participation in project meetings, workdays, and horse shows. Campbell is the daughter of Jennifer and Neil Campbell and is an 8th-grade student at Peshtigo Middle School.

Interested families may call the 4-H Youth Development Office at 715-732-7514 for more information.
