To compare, Jalapeno is rated mostly at 4,000 Scoville units, but can be between 1,000 and 10,000. Hot peppers have a much wider flavor profile. Tastes are subjective some people the spice hits right away and others it linger longer. An F1 hybrid is the first-generation offspring from two dissimilar parent plants. The majority of vegetable seeds sold on the market today are F1 hybrids, although heirloom varieties are becoming more popular. Drinking milk can help a little if your mouth is burning. When handling hot peppers, people should wash their hands or wear gloves.
