MARINETTE — The Marinette Senior Center, 1603 Ludington St., will hold a Strong Woman program, “Lifting Women to Better Health,” which is a national fitness program for women.

This class is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9:15 a.m. The cost is $35 for 20 classes. This class is led by Joanie Perry from the Wellness Clinic in Marinette. The Strong Women Program is an evidence-based national exercise program that targets midlife and older women. This curriculum is a strength training program to help maintain muscle mass, strength and function.

The center will also offer a bereavement support group, “Understanding Grief.” The group will be led by a Unity Hospice grief counselor for any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. Meetings are held monthly. Individual times are available.
