MARINETTE — The Marinette Senior Center, 1603 Ludington St., will host a slate of activities and learning opportunities.

The first is a glass mosaic demonstration presented by C.J.’s Glass Sept. 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. The cost for the class is $15 for members and $17 for non-members.

Carrie Jo and Scott of C.J.’s Glass will help participants create a unique stained glass-on-glass mosaic sun catcher in the shape of a sunflower or pumpkin. The project will be created on a premade four-by-four square clear glass base that is ready for framing.

The next learning opportunity is a “Navigating Windows 10” class, hosted by Brian Hartnell Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon, at the cost of $25. He will walk participants through the Window’s 10 operating system to show how to use the desktop, start menu, taskbar, notifications, settings menu, privacy settings and more.

Hartnell will explain how to manage the privacy settings to turn on or off sharing of personal information with Microsoft. This is a feature most people take for granted and ignore but complain about the advertising that continually comes to their screens. He will also explain how to update/upgrade a computer on a regular basis. People may bring their personal computer to class with the power plug to work with the instructor.

The last activity is a massage clinic on Sept. 26 from 10 to noon, hosted by Danielle, an LMT of the Wellness Clinic. The cost of this clinic is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. The sessions are 15 minutes.

Advance registration and prepayment is required for all three activities in order to hold a spot.
