MARINETTE — The Marinette Senior Center, 1603 Ludington St., is holding a basic computer skills class March 24 and 26 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Brian Hartnell will teach attendees how to transfer, copy, move, rename, delete and share different photos or document files. Attendees will learn how to use the “file explorer” to display data using almost any computer software one may own and then manipulate it. He will instruct participants on how to name and organize folders/files. He will also teach people how to safely back their data up. 

A portable Windows computer with a power cord is necessary to take this class and do the tutorials. Advance registration is required. The cost of the class is $30. 

The center is also holding an Easter Bunny Craft March 25 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A member of the center will be teaching attendees how to create a festive bunny treat. All materials will be provided. Advance registration is recommended. The cost will be $4 each for members and $5 each for nonmembers. 

There will also be a soup in a jar craft March 31 from 10 to 11 a.m. The cost for members is $7 each or two for $12. The cost for nonmembers is $10 each. Attendees will make soup that can be warmed up and placed in mason jars. Space is limited and people are asked to register. Prepayment is required. All supplies are provided.
