Why the benefit is being held: Konkel has a brain tumor and has dealt with brain surgery and gamma knife treatment in the past but is now requiring six weeks of radiation at Mayo Hospital in Minnesota. 

When the benefit is: Dec. 14, 4 to 9 p.m.

Where: Little Nugget Food & Spirts Golf Course, County Road 338, Wallace.

Special details of the benefit: The benefit will consist of a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. at the cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 years old and younger. There will also be 50/50 and bucket raffles and D.J. Jim Belec from 7 to 9 p.m. Anyone interested in donating baked prizes for the raffle may drop them off at Little Nugget the day of the event after 11 a.m.; anyone interested in donating of raffle donations may drop them off at Maple Aire Office, Stephenson, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. T-shirts can also be ordered for $12 by calling Lisa at 715-587-8875 or Debbie at 906-826-5015. Extra T-shirts may also be available for purchase at the benefit. All money raised will help the family with travel and medical expenses as well as lost wages and bills at home.
