Resolute donates to community

MENOMINEE — Resolute Forest Products’ Menominee mill recently donated a total of $2,250 to three local organizations working to help people in the community affected by COVID-19. The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is providing food for families suffering under hardship, the Greater Marinette/Menominee YMCA helps distribute meals to local families and the DAR Boys & Girls Club provides important programs for disadvantaged youth.

“Community organizations are working overtime right now to support the needs of vulnerable populations. Our donation to these programs will help deploy resources where they are needed the most,” said Todd Clausen, general manager. “The Menominee mill produces recycled pulp used to manufacture paper, personal care products and supplies needed by healthcare professionals.”
