Employees at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) dressed down for a good cause throughout 2019. On the last Friday of every month, SNBT employees were given the option to “dress down” by wearing their favorite blue jeans and making personal donations to support important local organizations.

A different community organization was chosen each month to donate the funds to, allowing the SNBT employees to contribute to a variety of worthy associations throughout our local area.

“SNBT employees are always looking for ways to give back to the communities that we have served for so many years,” said Kathleen Bergquist, St. Vincent de Paul chief human resources officer. “The ‘Jeans for Greens’ program was developed for just that reason, to give back to organizations in our communities that require assistance meeting their needs, while having a little fun with casual attire.”

Throughout 2019, SNBT employees paid a total of $3,220 to 12 different organizations including: Goodman-Armstrong Creek Rescue Squad, Crivitz Elementary Playground Equipment Fund, Newcap (Marinette and Oconto County), M&M Youth Soccer Association, Pembine Senior Center, Project Give-Stephenson, Peshtigo Food Pantry, Home Respite, Inc.-Oconto, FISH, Inc., Wisconsin Bankers Association-Bank Supporting Agencies, Marquette Symphony Orchestra and Dementia Friendly Community Coalition of Marinette County.
