MARINETTE — Shelly Mogensen has been promoted to Chief Credit Officer at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT). Mogensen is responsible for administering the bank’s loan policies and practices. She develops and recommends loan policies and credit risk review policies and procedures, identifies credit risk situations and provides guidance to officers and management.

She has been loyal and committed to SNBT for 14 years and she is truly deserving of this promotion.”

Mogensen joined SNBT in 2005 as a Commercial Credit Assistant and has been worked her way up through the Credit Department, holding positions such as Credit Analyst, Senior Credit Analyst, Credit Administration Officer/Manager, and now Chief Credit Officer.

She is also a former recipient of the SNBT Award of Excellence. This award is given to employees who demonstrate excellence in customer service, reliability, responsiveness to customers’ and bank employees’ needs, superior job knowledge, professionalism, motivation, and productivity.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and her Master’s in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She has completed the Wisconsin Bankers Association Commercial Lending School as well as Analyzing Financial Statements School.

Mogensen is a bank presenter for Get Smart about Credit Day and a volunteer for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. She lives in Marinette and has a grown son.
