MARINETTE Stephanie Rodgers, Accountant III, has been selected as Bay Area Medical Center’s Employee of the Month for March.

Rodgers graduated from Pulaski High School in 2008. She continued her education through Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and received her degree in 2013. In 2018, Rodgers completed her bachelor’s degree through Concordia University, Wis. While employed with BAMC, she also received an award for Service Care Standard 6 — Projecting a Positive Attitude. As an Accountant III, Rodgers focuses include fixed assets and analytics/statistics. However, she is also the backup for Accounts Payable and Payroll.

John Degen, Director of Accounting, says about Rodgers, “Stephanie always does more than she is asked and does it willingly and happily. You can assign a project to her and know it will be done beyond expectations. She is very positive in her interactions with staff, providing them the information they are requesting on a timely basis. She works with BAMC’s fixed assets and did an excellent job cleaning up the existing database, as well as adding the numerous new assets with the new hospital project.

Seven other employees were named Service Care Stars for excelling in BAMC Service Care standards: Michelle Guseck, Clinic Business Services Mgr — Physician Billing; Cindy Schahczinski, RN — Med Surg; Tess Williams, Director — Environmental Services; Jennifer Chaltry, Office Coordinator — Rehab/Occupational Health; Sharon Kamin, Paramedic — Ambulance; Michele Smith, Service Analyst — IT; and Donna Haefer, Analyst — HIM.

Employees celebrating anniversaries with BAMC this month include Wendy Laundree with 30 years of service; Brian Gamelin with 25 years of service; Raymond Beattie and Kristy Walker with 20 years of service; Michael Corwin and Natalie Viau with 10 years of service; and Jennifer Thompson and Brianna Camps with 5 years of service.
