Conley helps St. Scholastica
SUPERIOR, Wis. — Marinette’s Emily Conley helped lead the St. Scholastica track and field team to the title at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Friday.

Conley, a junior, placed second in the shot put with a season-best toss of 37 feet, 51/4 inches. She had a personal-best distance of 40 feet, 81/4 inches in the weight throw to place fifth.

St. Scholastica won the women’s team title with 195.5 points and UW-Superior was second with 179.

Peshtigo Booster Bash coming up


PESHTIGO — The Peshtigo Bulldog Booster Bash will be held on March 23 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Embers 1871 in Peshtigo.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. There will be a mini hoops basketball tournament, cash and door prizes, 50/50 raffles, pick-a-prize theme baskets, mini-raffles and music.

Tickets are $20 per adult (must be 21). That includes dinner, soda, beer and entry into cash/door prize drawings. Attendees are encouraged to show their school spirit by wearing their favorite March Madness or Peshtigo Bulldog entire.
