MARINETTE - The M&M Thunder U-19 girls' hockey team lost Saturday but beat Manistique twice on Sunday at the Civic Center.

In Sunday's first game, a 7-1 win, Megan Conley scored the first goal off a pass from defensive player Cassidy Martin. McKenna Holman scored the next two goals off of faceoff passes from center Ally Eldredge.

Miranda Martin then scored on Megan Conley's pass to finish the second period ahead 4-1.

The Thunder added three goals, all unassisted, in the third period, from Mary Vanscoik, Eldredge and Emily Conley.

The Thunder won the second game 10-2. Megan Conley scored the first goal on passes from Karlina McQueeny and Emily Conley. Emily Conley then scored two goals off of passes from McQueeney and Megan Conley, and then Megan Conley connected with the net, unassisted, to finish the first period with a 4-1 lead.

In the second period, Megan Conley scored her third goal for a hat trick, off a pass from McQueeney and Emily Conley. Karlee Christianson scored on Holman's assist, McQueeney scored on passes from Cassidy Martin and Emily Conley, which gave Conley a game playmaker. Cassidy Martin added a goal from Emily Conley, and McQueeney scored a goal from Vanscoik to end the second period with the Thunder up 9-2.

The lone third period goal was scored by Vanscoik.

On Saturday afternoon, the Thunder lost 5-1 to the Wausau Area Storm junior varsity team. The lone Thunder goal was scored by Holman on an assist from Eldredge.

Thunder goalie Ariel Sandoval, did an amazing job in net with 51saves.
