PEMBINE — While the team win was decided between Coleman and Crivitz, Sylvia Hansen got an individual win for Gillett.

Hansen finished Thursday’s Marinette & Oconto Conference girls meet in 19 minutes, 11.4 seconds and nearly a full minute ahead of Suring’s Ryann Wagner (21:02.5) for the win. Coleman, meanwhile, put each of its scored runners in the top 20 to get the edge in the team standings. The Cougars ended with 25 points while the Wolverines had just four top-20 finishers and was runner-up with 35 points.

Faith King (21:17) led the Cougars with a 3rd-place finish with teammate Sara Seefeldt (22:40.2) was sixth; Ember DeWitt (25:26.3) was 13th; Megan Seefeldt (25:34.7) was 15th and Mariah Payette (25:40.4) was 16th.

Bella Galindo led the Wolverines with a 4th-place finish in 22:17.4 and Riley Roman was seventh in 23:23.4. Zoey Brown (24:10.3) was 12th; Kjirsten Stumbris (26:06.8) was 20th and Cassidy Betka (28:35) was 22nd.

Kennedy Marquardt (22:26.2) had a 5th-place finish to lead Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy; Alexis Misco (25:30.8) was 14th; Megan Shallow (25:43) was 18th and Samara VanArk (29:48.9) was 23rd.

Wausaukee, which finished third in the team standings with 74 points, just missed having a top-20 finisher. Beth Schaal (28:04) was 21st; Corrina Haynes (30:01.9) was 24th; Kailee Sievert (30:02) was 25th; Emily Heller (35:20.1) was 26th and Autumn Schroeder (39:35.7) was 27th.
