Peshtigo and Wausaukee drew No. 1 seeds for boys' basketball regionals which start on Feb. 25.

The Marinette Marines (2-17) are seeded 10th in Division 2 and will open on Feb. 25 against Notre Dame (10-9), the No. 7 seed. The winner will play on Feb. 28 at second-seeded Ashwaubenon (18-3).

In Division 5, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy (15-4) drew a No. 2 seed and a first-round home game against seventh-seeded Oshkosh Valley Christian (1-18). The winner will play third-seeded Gillett (6-14) or sixth-seeded Sevastopol (3-15) on Feb. 28.

Wausaukee (17-3) gained a No. 1 seed and a first-round home game against White Lake (0-19), the No. 8 seed. The winner will play No. 4 Florence (8-11) or fifth-seeded Niagara (7-13).

Peshtigo (19-1) is seeded No. 1 in Division 3. The Bulldogs drew a first-round bye and will open on Feb. 28 at home against fourth-seeded Oconto Falls (3-16) or Wittenberg-Birnamwood (6-15), the No. 5 seed.

Clintonville (9-10) is the No. 2 seed in the regional. The regional champion will play in Ashwaubenon on March 6. The No. 1 seed in the other half of the bracket is Little Chute (13-8).

In Division 4, Crivitz (14-6) is seeded seventh and will play host to 10th-seeded Stratford (7-10). The winner will play at No. 2 Pacelli (17-2) on Feb. 28.

Also in Division 4, Oconto (19-4) gained a No. 3 seed and a first-round bye. The Blue Devils will open on Feb. 28 against No. 6 Spencer (13-6) or 11th-seeded Laona/Wabeno (9-11).

Coleman (2-17) is seeded 13th and will open at No. 4 Marathon (14-6). The winner will play No. 5 Crandon (14-4) or No. 12 Edgar (2-18).

In other first-round Division 5 games, eighth-seeded Lena (1-19) will play at No. 1 seed NEW Lutheran (19-1), and third-seeded Suring (9-10) will play host to Phelps (8-11), the No. 6 seed.

MENOMINEE - The Menominee girls' basketball team drew a first-round bye in the Class B, District tournament and will play host to either Kingsford or Gladstone in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Feb. 26.

If the Maroons win, they will be on their home court for the tourney title game Feb. 28.

Gladstone and Kingsford play Feb. 24 at Kingsford. Escanaba and Houghton play in the other semifinal in Houghton Feb. 26.

In the Class D district tournament, Stephenson plays at North Central Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. The winner plays at Carney-Nadeau Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.

Hannahville plays at North Dickinson and Mid Peninsula plays at Bark River-Harris Feb. 24.

The title game is Feb. 28 at Carney-Nadeau.
