MARINETTE POLICE
¦ Andrew C. LaFave, 30, Gladstone, Mich., was arrested on a warrant and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on Bridge and Eggener streets.
¦ Lance Posey, 53, Marinette, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday at 2112 Hall Ave.
¦ Vehicles driven by Charles L. Buechler, 84, Wausaukee, and Benjamin M. Markowski, 17, Marinette, collided at 2:06 p.m. Wednesday on Roosevelt and Woleske roads. Buechler was cited for violating a red traffic signal.

MENOMINEE COUNTY SHERIFF
¦ A 32-year-old Marinette woman was arrested for no driver’s license at 3:19 a.m. Dec. 28 in Nadeau Township. The passenger, a 26-year-old Crivitz woman was also arrested on two valid warrants out of Menominee County District Court. Both warrants were for failure to appear for show cause. Both women were transported to the Menominee County Jail.
¦ Richard Zaiki, 53, Iron River, Mich., was arrested on a warrant at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 28 in Iron County. The warrant was for failure to make payment out of Menominee District Court. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail.
¦ A deputy responded to a complaint in Harris Township at 10:15 p.m. Dec. 28 for a report of a hit and run that had occurred earlier in the day. The caller stated she was parked in a public parking lot and when she came out there was damage to her car. The information the caller gave is being investigated.
¦ A deputy was dispatched to a residence in Spalding Township for a possible breaking and entering at 11:10 a.m. Dec. 29. Upon arriving and conducting an investigation it was found that this was a family dispute and some parties were warned of trespass on the property.
¦ Richard Shatusky, 60, Menominee, was traveling on M-35 when he hit a patch of black ice, lost control of his vehicle and struck a bridge at 12:08 p.m. Dec. 29. The vehicle sustained disabling damage.
¦ Robert Crawford, 42, Menominee, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and violation of a bond condition at 9:44 p.m. Dec. 29. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail.
¦ Kenneth Cole, 59, Menominee, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license at 11:33 p.m. Dec. 29 in Menominee Township. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail.
¦ Dennis Urbanc, 52, Powers, was attempting to avoid a deer and ran off the road on a corner at 6 p.m. Dec. 30 in Spalding Township. Urbanc suffered minor injuries and the vehicle sustained functional damage.
¦ Deputies along with the Harris and Bark River fire departments responded to a structure fire in Harris Township at 5:36 p.m. Dec. 30. The caller stated she looked outside and realized that her outdoor wood burner and building were on fire. The fire was able to be contained, however, the structure did sustain damage.
¦ David Piotraschke, 54, Powers, attempted to negotiate a corner on a snow-covered and slippery road when he slid across the road and struck some mailboxes at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 31 in Spalding Township. The mailbox pole was damaged.
¦ Paul Lamyotte, 67, Menominee, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license and leaving the scene of a property damage accident at 9:51 p.m. Dec. 31 in Ingallston Township. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail.
¦ A deputy was contacted in reference to a harassment complaint at 2:59 p.m. Jan. 1 in the City of Stephenson. The caller stated someone is posting lies about him on Facebook and he would like them charged. An investigation was conducted into the matter and the incident was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.
¦ Deputies were advised to respond to a business in the City of Stephenson for a complaint about a subject harassing the staff and customers at 9:04 a.m. Jan. 2. The caller stated he would like the 59-year-old Stephenson man warned about criminal trespass. Contact was made with the male subject and he was advised.
¦ Herbert Meier, 29, Marinette, attempted to avoid a deer that was in the roadway and lost control of his vehicle causing him to go in the ditch and roll over at 4:40 a.m. Jan. 4 in Menominee Township. The vehicle sustained disabling damage.
¦ Ryan Graf, 40, Menominee, was arrested for driving with a suspended license at 10:28 p.m. Jan. 4 in Mellen Township. Graf was given a court date and time to appear in Menominee District Court and was released.
¦ A deputy responded to a residence in Stephenson Township for a report of a family dispute at 9:37 a.m. Jan. 6. Upon arriving and conducting an investigation it was found that nothing criminal took place.
¦ Corian Davis, 20, Windsor Wis., was arrested on a warrant in Spalding Township at 2:15 p.m. Jan. 6. The warrant was for failure to appear for show cause out of Menominee District Court. Davis was able to post the required bond and was released.
¦ Katie Schwittay, 30, Stephenson, lost control of her vehicle on snow-covered slippery roads causing her to go into the ditch at 2 p.m. Jan. 8 in Stephenson Township. No injuries were reported and the vehicle sustained minor damage.
¦ Kenneth Johnson, 31, Carney was arrested for home invasion at 9 p.m. Jan. 8 in Nadeau Township after a report of a breaking and entering. He was transported to the Menominee County Jail.
¦ Michael Truitt, 46, of Wallace was arrested for assault and battery at 10:08 p.m. Jan. 8 in Mellen Township. Truitt was transported to Menominee County Jail.
