¦ A deputy was advised of a complaint by a caller, Oct. 28 at 4:29 p.m. in Faithorn Township, who was threatened by a neighbor. The caller wanted a report on file in case further threats were made.

¦ A deputy was advised of a malicious destruction of property complaint Oct. 29 at 4:16 p.m. in the City of Stephenson. The caller, whose residence was damaged, did not want an investigation conducted but wanted a report on file in case of any future occurance. 

¦ Jacob Richard, 25, of Wallace was involved in a one-vehicle accident in Menominee Township Oct. 30 at 6:10 a.m.

¦ The Harris Fire Department, other surrounding fire departments and a deputy responded to an accidental barn fire Oct. 30 at 10:24 a.m. in Harris Township. The barn was a total loss, two vehicles sustained damages and some animals perished in the fire.

¦ A deputy responded to a larceny complaint Oct. 30 at 2:05 p.m. in Harris Township. The caller stated that he had some brush stolen from his property the day before. An investigation was conducted and is ongoing.

¦ A 37year-old Vulcan man was said to be in violation of a protection order on Oct. 30 at 4:57 p.m. The incident was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.

¦ A deputy responded to a malicious destruction of property complaint in the Meyer Township on Oct. 31 at 3:55 p.m. The complainant stated that his lawn, which was just repaired, had been damaged. The investigation is ongoing.

¦ Keiton Stahley, 17, of Beecher was involved in a two-vehicle accident with Andrew Marsh, 33, of Hermansville, Nov. 2 in Mellen Township. 

¦ Jonathon Ashauer, 18, of Hermansville was involved in a one-vehicle accident Nov. 2 at 5:04 p.m. in Nadeau Township. Ashauer was cited for driving too fast.

¦ Christopher Plutchak, 43, of Menominee was involved in a one-vehicle rollover accident Nov. 2 at 9:22 p.m. in Menominee Township. Plutchak was cited for careless driving.

¦ A deputy responded to a retail fraud complaint Nov. 4 at 9:51 a.m. in Nadeau Township. The 21 year-old suspect from Spalding, admitted to stealing and was transported to the Menominee County Jail where he was lodged.

¦ A deputy investigated a situation Nov. 4 at 1:10 p.m. concerning a Facebook post a father had heard about his daughter. After an investigation, the incident was closed due to no crime having been committed.

¦  Deputies responded to 9 incidents involving vehicle vs. animal complaints. The K9s were called for assistance once and two salvage vehicle inspections were conducted.
