WAUSAUKEE — Wausaukee High School was evacuated 9:57 a.m. Thursday morning after a written bomb threat was found on the premises.

Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve confirms that that the bomb threat was found written on the bathroom wall of the school. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the threat with the aid of Wisconsin State Patrol and Wisconsin DNR. Brown County Sheriff’s Office provided a bomb-detecting K9.

No threat was determined, and students were released back to the school and classes resumed.
