Moose Lodge to hold second fish fry
MARINETTE — The public is invited to the Marinette Moose Lodge on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to enjoy a walleye fish fry.
This is a free will offering dinner with all the proceeds to be donated to the new Community REC Center in Marinette. A $12.00 donation is suggested.
The first walleye fish fry raised $2,381.05 on Oct. 14. Members of the Marinette Moose Lodge thanked the community for its support for past fundraisers.
“Come out and meet your friends at the Moose Lodge this Saturday and enjoy a delicious meal, served by volunteers from the City of Marinette and the Marinette Moose Lodge,” the organization said in a press release.
Tuesday story in EagleHerald cut off
The news story entitled “Legal action eyed on zoning matter” in Tuesday’s EagleHerald was accidentally cut off in its final paragraphs. The end of the story is below.
Jennifer Flatt, who resides at 1857 Riverside Ave. next door to the two parcels and opposed the re-zoning, said the bank had every right to explore its legal options, but her views on the matter had not changed.
“I still feel it’s not in the best interest of the neighborhood, and by extension, Marinette neighborhoods,” she said. “There are other options.”
