Culvert replacement causes closure
TOWN OF WAGNER — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) northeast region announced a full closure of Wisconsin State Highway 180 for culvert replacement this week in Marinette County.
Maintenance crews will be replacing a culvert on State Highway 180 between Wagner Road and Bruette Road in the Town of Wagner, Marinette County, beginning Monday and continuing through Friday. Northbound and southbound State Highway 180 will be closed at the location of the culvert construction. Detours will be posted. 
Man gets prison for seventh plus DWI
MARINETTE — A Green Bay man was sentenced to five years total prison Friday in Marinette County Circuit Court Branch 1 for driving while intoxicated (7th, 8th or 9th) and fleeing/eluding an officer.
Gregory R. Blom, 45, was also sentenced to five years total extended supervision, had his license revoked for three years and must have an ignition interlock device for three years.
Blom must maintain absolute sobriety to include no possession or consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs, intoxicating substances, or any other controlled substances without a valid prescription. He cannot enter an establishment whose primary purpose is the sale of alcohol. He cannot have contact with known drug users, drug sellers or places where drugs can be obtained illegally. He also cannot drive without a valid driver’s license.
Charges of driving with a PAC (7th, 8th or 9th), driving while license revoked and bail jumping were dismissed but read in.
