Two die in Dickinson County collision

SAGOLA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Troopers from the Iron Mountain, Mich. Post responded to a two-car traffic crash at approximately 10:49 a.m. Saturday on M-95, near the Marquette County line, in Sagola Township of Dickinson County. 

A vehicle occupied by Taylor Bosley, 18, and Jolene Treml, 17, both of Kingsford, Mich., was traveling northbound on M-95. Bosley’s vehicle lost control and crossed over the center line, colliding into a vehicle traveling southbound. 

The second vehicle was occupied by Steven Anderson, 46, and Julie Anderson, 40, along with two of their children. The Anderson family was transported to Marquette General Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Bosley and Treml were pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Speed and weather conditions are considered to be factors in the crash. All persons involved were wearing seatbelts. 

Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, STAR Ambulance, Beacon Ambulance, Integrity Ambulance, Sagola Fire & Rescue and Republic Township Fire & Rescue assisted on scene.
