Drug charges results in prison sentence

MARINETTE — A 37-year-old Marinette man was sentenced to six years in prison Monday in Marinette County Circuit Court Branch 2 for possession with the intent to sell amphetamine (10 to 50 grams).

David A. Johnson, 1440 Parnell St., was also sentenced to five years extended supervision. He must maintain absolute sobriety to include no possession or consumption of alcohol or controlled substances without a valid prescription and taken only as prescribed and as approved by agent. He also cannot have contact with any known drug users, dealers or places where illegal drugs can be obtained.
