William T. Trimberger, 76, of Peshtigo, passed away March 6, 2018. Born January 14, 1942, son of the late Alfred and Marion (Andrews) Trimberger, he married the former Nancy L. Voeks October 26, 1963, in Plymouth, Wis. She preceded him in death August 15, 2005.

William retired in 1999 after working 30 years for the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and  Peshtigo River Bow Hunter’s Club.  He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In the early years, he and his family often participated in neighborhood get-togethers playing horseshoes, softball and volleyball. The shenanigans also included “come as you are” parties.  In his retirement years, he enjoyed coffee clutching and going out for dinner and drinks at the Tradewinds. He also enjoyed spending time with his friend, Lois Hansen.

William is survived by, two sons, Ty (Deena) and Ryan; three daughters: Dee (Scott) Schraub, Leah (Steven) Forbes and Tisha (Corry) Lambie; his grandchildren: John, Ashley, Jordan, Mitchell, Bryce, Cole, Teya, Chloe, Kayla, Scottie and Amanda; great-grandchildren: Madison, Mason, Carson, Ella, Gavin, Eli and Avery; a brother, Thomas; and two sisters, Carol and Jane.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., with Father Jess Berdol officiating. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
