William "Bill" B. Gregory, 52, of Menominee, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013, at UW Health in Madison. He was born on October 3, 1960, to the late John and Marilyn (Brink) Gregory.
Bill graduated from Menominee High School, and attended UW-Marinette and Northern Michigan University. Until his illness, he worked for Walter Brothers for many years. Bill's passion was sports, particularly Menominee sports. He coached Y-football, YMCA Tee-Ball, track, and served in various capacities for little league baseball, Menominee youth baseball and the Menominee hornets football. More recently, Bill could often be seen on the sideline or in the stands, taking stats, running the clock, selling tickets, doing anything he could to support the Maroons.
Bill is survived by his sister, Sally (Jim) Shaver of Marquette, Mich.; his niece, Kristine (Brandon) Ogle and their children: Bradley and Keylee Ogle; an uncle, John (Laurie) Brink; three cousins, and the most amazing network of friends a person could have. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and aunt, Mary Hohimer.
Friends may call at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday April 24th from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
