Warren James Hranach, 89, formerly of Menominee, Mich. passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. He was born on January 24, 1924, in Nadeau, Mich., to the late Joseph and Elsie (Beyer) Hranach.
Warren served his country honorably in the Army Air Corp. during World War II. He married the former Ruth Lueskow on October 2, 1958. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2007. Warren was a papermaker at the former Menominee Paper Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Menominee and served on the church council. He also was a past member of the VFW Post #1887. Warren was a visionary entrepreneur, investing and working on various businesses in Menominee.
Warren is survived by two daughters: Lynn (Frederick) Charles of Scottsbluff, Neb. and Patricia (Jim) Nagel of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren: Jessica Diley, James Nagel and Phillip (Marilena) Nagel; one great-granddaughter, Joslyn Diley; one sister, Ione (John) Bellaire of Hayward, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Audrey Hranach of Rockford, Ill.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Phillys and Ted Hartner of Milwaukee; and other family members and friends. Along with his parents and his wife Ruth, Warren was preceded in death by his son, James and a brother, Kenneth.
Honoring Warren's wishes private services will be held.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee, Mich.
