Thomas M. Topper, 72, of Daggett, Mich., passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at home. Tom was born on July 3, 1941, in Detroit, Mich. to the late John and Leah (Price) Topper.
On February 10, 1990, Tom married the former Catherine "Kitty" Cieliczka in Las Vegas, Nev. Tom worked as a supervisor for Rouge Steel and Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Mich. for many years. Tom was known as the class clown and always enjoyed a good laugh. He further enjoyed playing golf and softball, singing and dancing. Tom couldn't wait to retire and move up north where he enjoyed fishing and grouse hunting. Tom was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington, Mich.
Survivors include his wife, Kitty Topper of Daggett, Mich.; brothers: Mike (Bonnie) of Cedar River, Mich. and Bill (Andrea) of South Lyon, Mich.; two sisters: Pat (Gary) Inch of Traverse City, Mich. and Lynn Ridge of Howell, Mich.; nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his brother, James Price Topper.
In keeping with Tom's wishes, no services will be held. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
