Rosemary Mathias, 68, of Marinette, Wis., passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013, at Bay Area Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1944, to the late Robert and Ellen (Hendrickson) Fort in Marinette, Wis.
On June 16, 1962, Rosemary married Michael Mathias in Marinette, Wis. Rosemary was a homemaker her whole life and she was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1887 in Menominee, Mich. for 40 years.
Rosemary is survived by two daughters: Renee (Jeff) Jones of Lowell, Mich. and Robin Mathias of Marinette, Wis.; two sons: Mark Mathias of Gladstone, Mich. and Matthew (Barbra) Mathias of Centralia, Ill.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters: Janice Smith and Gloria (John) Lemire; two brothers: Bill (Pearl) Fort and Roger (Mary) Fort; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and a very dear friend, Patty Perlot. Rosemary was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Mathias; three sisters: Joan, Barb and Judy and one brother, David.
  Family and Friends may call to the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee, Mich. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 4 p.m. till 5 p.m. with Memorial Service at 5 p.m. with Pastor Darrel Diers and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service at 5:45 pm.
