Mildred M. Ewaldt, 93, of Menominee, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Luther Home. She was born on January 14, 1920, to the late Arvid and Ella (Westman) Peterson in Wallace.
On November 8, 1941, Mildred married Frank Ewaldt Jr. in Menominee; he preceded her in death on October 13, 1991. She had retired from Emerson Electric and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where she was involved in Ruth's Circle and the Quilting Club.
Mildred is survived by two daughters: Jo Couturier of Plymouth, Minn. and Terri (Mark) Michlig of Green Bay; a son, Frank Ewaldt of Menominee; six grandchildren: Justin Michlig, Stephen and Thomas (Ann) Christian, Jody Campbell, Beth (Brad) Richardson, and Chelsea Ewaldt; five great-grandchildren: Taylor and Hayden Campbell, Brady, Bennett, and Beau Richardson. In addition to her husband, Frank; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Christian and her daughter-in-law, Ginny Ewaldt.
Friends may call at Bethel Lutheran Church on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 4 until 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. with Rev. Scott Ehle officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
