Mary Goltz, 92, went to her eternal reward in heaven on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Rennes Health Center East. She was born July 24, 1921, to the late Michael and Sophia Chepeck. 
Mary grew up in Marinette, Wis. and was a graduate of Marinette High School, class of 1939. On January 20, 1940, she married the love of her life Stanley Goltz. They had 48 years of married life together, then Stanley passed away on November 16, 1988. Mary was mostly a stay at home mother for most of her years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, playing cards, pinochle, polka dancing and music, but mostly spending time with her family. She loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Mary is survived by her four daughters: Jane Garrigan, Pat Reif, Carol VanBeek, Lou (James) Nesberg, all of Peshtigo; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She will be forever loved and missed by her family. Besides her husband, Stanley, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Walter, Leo, Bill and Peter Chepeck; and two sisters: Sophia Camps and Helen Madtson; a son-in-law, Gary Garrigan. 
Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo, on Friday, October 18. Father Ralph Merkatoris will be officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and aids at Rennes East for their loving and good care given to Mom during her stay there, John and Mark Berth for their wonderful and caring support through this difficult time.
