Marion J. Menor Martin, known by close family and friends as "Honey", unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Bay Area Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on April 6, 1930, in Marinette.
Marion attended Marinette schools and graduated from Marinette High School. She married David P. Martin on May 9, 1953, and later moved to Berwyn, Ill. She worked at Victor Gasket in Chicago while residing in Illinois. In 1972, she returned to Marinette and was employed at Bay Area Medical Center, retiring after 20 years. Marion was a member or Holy Family Parish. Her interests included smear tournaments, playing cards, pool, darts and miniature bowling. She enjoyed the Porterfield Country Music Festival and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marion was also an avid Packers and Cubs fan.
Marion is survived by three children: Dave (Karen) Martin of Peshtigo, Brian (Laurie) Martin of Marinette, and Lynda Kopish of Marinette; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren: Mark (Tiff) Martin of DeKalb, Ill. and their children: Kiernan and Delaney, David (Ashley) Martin of Green Bay and their daughter, Zaiya, Matthew Martin of Marinette and his children: Desmin and Nicholai, Jennifer Martin of Peshtigo, Adrien Kopish (Angelo) of Marinette and their daughter, Olivia, Jacob Martin of Marinette, Misti (Josh) Mattison of Montgomery, Ill.  and their children: McKenzie and Ava, Ashley Kopish of Marinette and her son, Declan, and Courtney Slayton and her son, Mason; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Martin; her parents; five brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home from 1 until 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. in the funeral home. 
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
