Marian Dorothy Kohrt, 93, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. She was born on December 19, 1919, in Marinette, Wis. to the late Edgar and Clara Mae (Rondeau) Hudon.
Marian graduated from Marinette High School class of 1938. She married William Kohrt on January 27, 1945, celebrating 68 years together. Marian was a member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee, the VFW Auxiliary and the BAMC Auxiliary. Marian liked bowling, she enjoyed traveling and going camping, she also played the piano and loved to sing, she enjoyed going to baseball games and attending high school football games and she enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, especially her favorite player, Donald Driver.
Marian is survived by her loving husband, William of Menominee, Mich.; one daughter, Gaye (Jim) Vlies of Green Bay, Wis.; five sons: Tom (Betty) Kohrt, Steve (Julie) Kohrt and Dave (Karen) Kohrt, all of Menominee, Mich., Mike (Maxie) Kohrt of Front Royal, Va. and William (Chris) Kohrt of Freedom, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Along with her parents, Marian was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
 Visitation will take place at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The Vigil prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, for the repose of the soul of Marian Dorothy Kohrt, on Monday, September 23 at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee, Mich.
 Marian's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Menominee Care Center for the wonderful care they provided.
 A memorial fund has been established in Marian's name. Any expressions of sympathy and kindness may be directed to a family member.
