Lois Esther Linsmeier, 89, of Birch Creek, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at BAMC in Marinette, Wis. She was born on November 4, 1923, in Menominee, Mich. to the late Walter and Mabel (Gilbert) Everson.
Lois graduated from Menominee High School class of 1941. She married Elmer Linsmeier on February 10, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2008. Lois was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was a strong woman of great faith and a true inspiration to her family. She had a great sense of humor, liked playing cards, and enjoyed telling stories. She was an excellent cook and also liked to bake.
Lois is survived by six children including four daughters: Barbara White of Green Bay, Wis., Patricia Sebero of Porterfield, Wis., Linda (John) Jacques and Marie (James) Dellisse, both of Menominee, Mich.; two sons: Elmer (Susan) Linsmeier of Menominee, Mich. and Joseph (Laurie) Linsmeier of Wallace, Mich.; 15 grandchildren: Jamie, Rob, Betsy, Suzy, Jesse, Lauralee, Rick, Jennifer, John, Jim, Becky, Aaron, Beth, Jeff and Levi; 16 great-grandchildren: Rachel, Pete, Tyler, Marshall, Lyla, Justin, Michaela, Tristan, Paige, Holly, Jimmy, Chase, Emma, Ryder, Reese and Zoey. Lois is further survived by four brothers: Charles (Joyce) Everson of Hershey, Penn., Henry (Dolly) Everson of Escanaba, Mich., Douglas (Jan) Everson of Marinette, Wis. and Eugene Everson of Reading, Penn., and many other family and friends including everyone at New Hope Heights. Along with her parents and her husband, Lois was preceded in death by her son, David; her great-granddaughter, Rhiley; and two sisters: Myrtle Barcewski and Pamela Everson; also one son-in-law, Emil White.
 Visitation will take place at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, April 7, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. The Vigil prayer service will begin at 4 p.m. with Deacon Vincent Beckley presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, for the repose of the soul of Lois Esther Linsmeier, on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Guoin presiding. There will be an additional visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.
Burial will be in the Birch Creek Cemetery in Birch Creek, Mich.

  A memorial fund has been established in Lois's name.
