Lillian Mae Lindstrom, 83, Carney, Mich., went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born May 16, 1934, in Wallace, Mich., to the late Arthur and Theodora (Wallenslager) Eastland.

Lillian graduated from Stephenson High School in 1952 and went to Nursing School at Northern Michigan University and became an LPN in 1956. She married Earl Lindstrom in 1957 in Menominee, Mich. Lillian and Earl had 60 loving years of marriage. Lillian worked at the Menominee Hospital as an LPN for 2 years and later worked at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility for 20 years at intervals, leaving at times to be a full time mother.

Lillian held a few office positions in the Carney Free Church. She had a few hobbies; Lillian loved reading her Bible, going to church, being involved with the women’s group and Awana group. Lillian enjoyed knitting and sewing and taking care of her plants. She was the most caring and loving person.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Earl; their children: Jerry Lindstrom, Tony (Arlette) Lindstrom, Patti (Roger) Hull, Scott (Connie) Lindstrom and Mark (Jennifer) Lindstrom. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and Ralph Eastland and a sister, Pauline Robinson.

Visitation for Lillian will be on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Carney Free Church in Carney, Mich., beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Kit Bogan will be officiating. Burial will be in the spring at the Carney Free Church Cemetery.
