Laura Margaret Curle, age 83, of Menominee, Mich., passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family. Laura was born February 21, 1935 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to the late Rev. Robert and Jessie Norcross.
   On October 21, 1961, she married the Rev. Robert Curle in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and together they pastored churches in Ontario, Ohio, Wisconsin and Michigan. Three daughters were born into their home: Brenda in Kingsville, Ontario, Lori in Dayton, Ohio and Colleen in Springfield, Ohio. In 1974 they came to Marinette, Wis., and pastored Calvary Temple Assembly of God for 6 years.
    In July of 2001, they retired from full-time Pastoral Ministry and began to make plans to return to the Marinette-Menominee area, knowing that this was the best place they ever lived. They soon found their dream home in Menominee and returned to this area to enjoy their remaining years.
    Laura is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert; her three daughters: Brenda (Dale) VanErt and Lori (David) Armstrong, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. and Colleen (Brad) O’Neill of Grayslake, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, the Rev. June Stevens of Hemet, Calif.; and two brothers: the Rev. Kenneth Norcross of Palm Bay, Fla. and the Rev. Robert Norcross of Toronto, Ontario, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Kenneth (Freda) Norcross; a brother and his wife, the Rev. David and Betty Norcross; a brother-in-law, the Rev. Ronald Stevens, and an infant sister, Catherine.
    Services will be held at Calvary Church Assembly of God, W1498 State Hwy 64, Marinette, Wis., on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, with the Rev. Robert Curle officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., with a Memorial Service following the visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 11th, at Spencer Lake Christian Center Memorial Park, N1385 County Hwy E, Waupaca, Wis.
