Ken D. Stoneburner of Marinette, 1946 - 2013, passed away July 4th at his home.
Ken was an honest and decent man who dearly loved his three boys: Jesse, Cody and Tyler; his mother, Rose F. Stoneburner; granddaughter, Kyia Rae Stoneburner; and his dearest and closest friends who he never let down: Harry Ellery, Gerry Cain, Marcel Chartre and Eileen Coffey. He was preceded in death by his good friend and partner, strictly platonic, Franny Chartre.
Ken never did a dishonest deed and treated everyone as an equal. He despised war, cruelty to people and animals, and was of the Buddhist persuasion. His passions were music, books, wood working and gardening. According to his Buddhist philosophies, he hopes to reconnect in spirit with all those he loved. This is his final farewell to those who touched, influenced and made his life happy.
Ken will be cremated and his ashes set free over the Grand Canyon, which he thought was the most holy and spiritual place on earth and his favorite spot.
Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.
